In late 2011, after multiple failed diets and years of feeling sluggish and stressed, I decided to completely overhaul my diet and make a true lifestyle change to a more plant-based approach. I first gave up red meat and dairy, then slowly phased out all other meats and fish. I now embrace the plant-based lifestyle and eat full vegan. I can honestly say that I have never felt as good as I do now! At age 30, I feel more youthful and full of energy than I ever have before.

This blog is to highlight some of my favorite kitchen creations. I have always found happiness while cooking, but after becoming vegan, that passion has truly blossomed. I am also very lucky to have a husband that is now vegan (he made the switch in January 2013). When I am not cooking, I enjoy reading, working out, traveling, playing with my cat Axle, and trying out new restaurants with my husband Wes.
